Reaching the venue
In order to make your journey and experience during the conference better, here are some details that will help you with the stay and travel.
By Air
If you’re flying in, the nearest airport is Cairo International Airport (CAI).
From there, you can book an Uber, Careem, or airport taxi directly to the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization in Fustat.
The drive usually takes 30–45 minutes, depending on traffic conditions.
By Local Transport
You can reach the museum by taking the Cairo Metro (Line 1) to Mar Girgis Station, then continue by taxi or Careem — it’s around a 10-minute ride.
Alternatively, local taxis and ride-hailing apps are widely available across Cairo.
By Private Transport
If you’re driving, search for “National Museum of Egyptian Civilization” on Google Maps.
The museum offers on-site parking and is located in Fustat, Old Cairo.
