Form builders suck in general. Either that or they are closed source or behind the great paywall.

Even in Frappe Framework, the Web Forms that come out of box induce quite the friction when using them.

Frustrated by the lack of sane form building solutions, I decided to build one of my own.

This talk will be an introduction to Forms Pro - an open-source, modern form builder that is built on top the Frappe Framework. It was supposed to be a different take on the existing Frappe Forms, but it evolved into something much more independent, which makes me quite happy.

This will be a demo centric talk, that will indulge in design & engineering decisions that took place while building the features.
